This action aimed at the recovery of tidal dynamics, marshland areas and restoration of other areas for traditional agricultural use. Recuperation of 25ha of marshes over agricultural lands.
Technical characteristics
Earthworks have been limited to break the dykes and lower the ground level, allowing sea water to enter these drained areas. The undergrounding of the existing power lines has eliminated a risk to birds and the repopulation with native species (such as alder, poplar and willows) has restored the landscape to its original original appearance.
